Hello guys! I'm back with another update on this blog. Today, we'll be talking about Trial 001.

Trial 001 is really simple. Like really, unless all your units are four stars and you are trying to enter with king Burnys...

You will be fighting Karl, yes, Karl, that friend of yours. So, he's water element so it is not recommended to bring fire units in.

You will need:
A status clearer
A mitigator(recommended)
Any other unit that can deal damage.

A status clearer is any unit that can clear the squad of status ailments. For example, Ivris, Rinnon, Rigness, Ulkina, etc. You will need it because Karl, might paralyse you. Paralysis will render your unit useless for 3 whole turns unless you can use a Stimulant to that unit or you use a Brave Burst that cures status ailments.

Recommended leaders:
Leaders that can boost HP or BB gauge fill rate up or Status Nullifier. E.g. Bestie, Elza.

This trial will become extremely easy once you have a 7 star, if you are able to defeat a mecha god.
Mecha gods are needed to evolve a 6 star to 7 star.

You can search wiki for their evolution materials.

Actual phase:

Phase 1(400 000 hp):

Okay, on the first turn, just normal attack everyone and try to keep your mitigator's BB up  and constantly heal.
At 75% he will do Flood Offensive - Boosts ATK by 30% and reduces DEF by 50% for 3 turns. This may make his attacks hurt a bit more. Also, every 5 turns, he will do Frozen Axe, 6 hit combo on all enemies. You may want to guard your weaker units every 5 turns.

Phase 2(500 000hp):

When you reduce his HP to around 50%, he will evolve to 5 star form. He will be much stronger so mitigation is highly recommended. He has a few moves that contains other elements and they might hurt your units. Continue healing! Oh, and when he evolves, he's back with full and more health!

At 50% of his second form, Karl will do his ultimate attack, Blue Execution. I forgot how much damage this does. But a LOT. If you don't mitigate or guard, you are dead. With recent 5/6 star units, you should survive pretty well, with mitigation or guard. If you don't have a mitigator, you have to sacirfice one of your units to bring him down to 50% hp. 50% hp is when his hp bar reaches the line between your top two unit slots. Revive anyone who died, hopefully not more than 1 and continue on. The rest of the fight should be easy but I'm going to tell you his moves anyway.

Tidal offensive- Boost DEF by 80% and and heals over time for 3 turns.
Cursed Blue Slash- 8 combo powerful water attack on all enemies.

Once you kill him, you will capture him, as a free unit. He is fairly ok at 6 star form but it will not be easy at all to get him to 6 star. don't even think about it unless you are like level 90, so yah.

Rewards:

Brave Knight Karl
1 Gem
500,000 Zel
20,000 EXP

That's it for today. Thank you very much for reading. Please leave a comment on what units you have gotten so I can leave a comment. See ya.

Ribbit Ribbit... Guide to the FROGS of Brave Frontier!

So... you found a frog. And now you want to know about the frogs. Well...

There are 3 frogs you need to know about.
The Burst Frog. When fused, +1 to current unit's BBLevel. Multiple can be fused at a time.
The Burst Emperor. When fused, +5 to current unit's BBLevel. Multiple can be fused at a time to a unit that has not unlocked SBB, but is at least 6 stars.
The Sphere Frog. When fused, +1 to Sphere Capacity, Maximum 2. Only 1 can be fused to one unit.

BBLevels are measurements of how powerful your BBs, or Brave Bursts, are. 6star units get an SBB, or Super Brave Burst, unlocked when the unit's BB is maxed out at level 10. 7star units get a UBB, or Ultimate Brave Burst, unlocked when the unit's SBB is maxed out at level 10. UBBs only have one level, and come with an extra skill, or ES. Each unit's ES can differ, but you can add custom ESes to a unit using Elgifs and Emgifs. (These are not available on BFGlobal yet.) A UBB is a very complicated Brave Burst which will be discussed later on.

What to do with your Burst Frogs?

These are actually quite hard to come by, so favourite your Burst Frogs to ensure you do not accidentally use them. Unfavourite those to be fused, and only fuse them to 6 Star and 7 Star units. Do not max out the SBB on 6 Star units unless you really want to, as they do not have a UBB. Do not fuse them directly to your original 4/5 star units, as BBLevels are halved when a unit evolves, rounded down. For example, my Selena (2star) has a BBLevel of 5 and I evolve her into an Ice Selena (3star). My new Ice Selena will have a BBLevel of 2, as 5/2 = 2.5, rounded down to 2. BBLevels can also be gained by fusing other units of a same BBType, but there is no certainty to gaining a BBLevel. HOwever, multiple BBLevels can be gained at the same time, whether by fusing units or Burst Frogs.

The Sphere Frog.

This is a very rare frog, as it allows your unit's sphere capacity to increase. As you will find out, spheres are VERY VERY important to a unit, and having the right spheres can mean the difference between surviving Blue Execution or not. (FYI, this is Karl's Trial 001 special attack, on form 2. Triggered at 50% HP, Massive AOE on your units. Mitigation/Guard/HighHP Units required to survive!) Spheres can do loads of things, from BBGauge Cashback to increasing your stats. Some spheres can even allow the unit to avoid being targeted when under 50% HP!

Do note however, that the spheres you equip on your unit that has had a a sphere frog fused to it before must be of the same type. Units with a sphere frog fused to them are called dual-sphered units.
Dual-sphered units keep their dual-sphere quality when they evolve, so go ahead and fuse that sphere frog into your units that have good 7star potential. (For example, Reis)

BF International and it's wierdness.

If you come across an internet article on the Mystery Frog or the Robo-Frog, these are units exclusive to Brave Frontier International, which will not be discussed as it is not managed under the same company and is thus, technically, a different game.

Have fun!

Actually, this blog will guide you all the way to when you are an expert(hopefully)

So many posts in one day??? IMPOSSIBURU

So I decided to continue posting. You can continue referring to this post after you have progressed a bit.

If you have explored everywhere, you will realise that there is a place in Imperial Capital Randall to use points to exchange for items. DO NOT change for the BURST EMPEROR OR BURST FROG OR ANYTHING THAT LOOKS EXPENSIVE randomly. Anything above 2000 points is considered expensive, so yeah.

After you have finished Mistral, Morgan and St. Lamia, it' s time to do trials! In Imperial Capital Randal, something something Lab or whatever. There, you will have access to Trial 001. You can try it and I will give a guide on my next post.

Don't be afraid to fail. However, I highly recomment not using a gem to revive if you fail. Unless you are a dirty P2P(pay 2 play), then you do not deserve to read this blog.

THIS BLOG IS ONLY FOR F2Ps(free 2 play)!!!!!

Continuing, do not use a gem to revive. you can just retry the stage after you have better units.

Tip: If  you cannot complete a certain quest, keep doing the quest before it and fuse the units(or fodders) into the main units you use so that they can level up. Levelling up gives your units better stats and thus higher chance to survive potentially deadly attacks.

That's all for today, I will stop posting. Please leave a comment. It would be greatly appreciated and remember to tell me what unit you got!

For newbies

Play through the tutorial, of course.

But as a starter unit, I suggest Selena. Like scroll to the blue female. You can ignore what is written there first and click proceed or something. I will explain much later in many posts later about why.

Then, first keep on questing. Summon when you can. Until you have at least like 3 units from the summon gate. RNG is involved here. It is totally random(hopefully). But sometimes, there are rates ups. Basically, there is a higher chance for certain units to appear in the summon gate. I suggest that after you have 3 units, save up for this batch of units. Avant, Chrome and so on. Their names may be a bit different, but basically a guy in black suit holding two scythes is Chrome. He will come soon.

I will assume that you know what each stat does. If not, fine.

HP basically more health points
ATK more attack damage
DEF less damage will be taken for your units as compared to units with lower DEF
REC basically how much heart crystals will heal for that unit and how much healers will heal for the entire squad.

Now, I will explain types.

You know how underneath the level of the unit, there is a type? It is either Anima, Breaker, Guardian, Oracle or Lord.
Anima will give you more HP and less REC
Breaker will give you more ATK but less DEF
Guardian will give you more DEF but less REC
Oracle will give you more REC but less DEF
Lord will give you balanced stats.

Most people will feel that Anima is best for everything since REC doesn't matter too much if you have a healer and having more HP will help you survive more attacks. However, for arena, it is better to have breaker units. So that you can deal more damage to your opponent and hopefully kill them before they do. The concept of arena is simple. Nuke them before they do. Arena can take time when you are new but they will take way less time and way simpler the higher level will go.

I will leave the rest for you guys to figure out. Like, what fun is in the game if everything is explained by me?

Post here on what units you get and I will comment on it. But if I really don't know, just use it.

New blog

A new Blog!

Yes. This blog will be on Brave Frontier and Brave Frontier only. I'm gonna call it BF from now on.
For those of you who have never heard of BF before, it's basically a mobile game for both iOS and Android that is completely free. Of course, you can download it on your Windows 10 computer. It is a third-person RPG game. It is sort of violence but suitable for ages 8 and above(In my opinon). There are tons of features and beating the game will be... Impossible. Becuase it is constantly being updated. RNG is involved. So hope for the best.

The rest will be explained in future posts. This is just the basic stuff for those who have never heard of BF.

So yeah.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Check out my other blog and my friend's blog(Link at the bottom)
